Comments:    I've had a bunch of various careers over the past 40 years. Primarily in radio, Television, and film.

But that's not all! Too many to list.

I can't wait to re connect with former classmates that I still remember from 40 years ago.

Why is it that only a few years of high school cements memories of friends so solid?

School Story:    I never really liked High School. I hated studying and was always more comfortable having fun!

My match skills sucked, and I just wasn't interested.

But damn, did I love my classmates and enjoy life outside of studies!

I always wanted to be an entertainer and high school didn't afford me that luxury, so I learned how to play the drums and joined the band. Once I got comfortable doing that I decided I wanted to be a D.J. so I got a job at the local country and western radio station, WHYD and the rest as they say, is history.

I remember one summer I was bored and heard that John Wayne was in town looking at sites to make a movie called the "Green Beret". I decided to go ask him for a summer job. When he came out of the restaurant I stood in front of him and he said: "I don't have a pen and I don't have any paper to do an autograph for you, and besides today one of my best friends, Jayne Mansfield died in a car wreck."

I said: "Mr. Wayne, I don't want your autograph." and he said: "Then what the hell do you want?" "I'm busy."

I said: "I came here to ask you for a job in your movie if you decide to film here." He said: "Anyone who has the balls to come up to John Wayne and ask him for a job deserves one!" "You're hired."

He told me someone would call me if they decided to film in Columbus and I'll be damned if I didn't get a call a few months later and was asked to report to the set at 3:30 in the morning. I worked on the movie for three months and really got bitten by the bug. By the end of the summer, I was asked to work full time for his production company. I went home and told my father, and he told me that if I didn't go to school during my SR. year at Hardaway, he would disown me!

Of course, I finished out my senior year and gave up an opportunity of a lifetime. We've all had crossroads to choose from in our lives and at the time we always make the right decisions!

I can't wait to see everyone!
